Project Profit Academy [Review]

Welcome to my Project Profit Academy review. I came across this program while browsing WarriorPlus.

It grabbed my attention mainly due to its high price tag and the vendor’s reputation. Is it really the fastest way to make $10K a month online, or is it just another scam to avoid?

Here’s what you need to know. Unlike some of the promoters of this system, I’m not going to praise it like it’s the best thing that ever happened on the internet without offering any REAL VALUE that you can use in the buy or not decision, for the sake of landing that commission. 

I’m not affiliated with Project Profit Academy in any way, so don’t expect a thousand low-quality, outdated PLR bonuses for joining through my links.

The guy behind this system is Brendan Mace. He’s a serial course creator with hundreds of products on the WarriorPlus marketplace. Many of his programs are of questionable quality, but not nearly as expensive as this one.

Does that mean that the quality is way better than some of his other projects? Not necessarily, and here’s why.

Summary: This course is built in a very clever way to ensure that the owner makes a lot of money.

In my opinion, Brendan is focused more on helping himself, rather than the students who enroll in his high ticket affiliate marketing program.

Inside, you will be taught how to promote his other programs as an affiliate, using spammy tactics that you could also learn for free on platforms like Youtube and Google.

The guy is focused more on producing quantity rather than quality stuff. It’s apparent by his minimal efforts in explaining the affiliate marketing business model.

The entire course can be summarized into him showing you where to find his other products, giving you a bunch of overused landing pages, done for you email swipes that other course owners give away for free to their affiliates, and the basics of running paid ads for traffic generation.

You can definitely learn a thing or two, especially if you are new to the industry, but the price for quality is lacking, in my opinion.

I know that there are better, cost-effective alternatives for people interested in starting an affiliate marketing business the RIGHT way.

What Is Project Profit Academy?

This expensive program looks more like a sales funnel than anything else. It’s supposed to be a program that can teach you how to make money online by promoting other people’s products and services, which it does.

However, it’s very LIMITED to only one niche market. That’s because Brendan Mace is in the MMO (Make Money Online) industry, and all his products, software systems, and everything else is focused on this niche market.

Since you will be taught how to promote his other, low-quality products that promise the world, but deliver a lot less than that, you’re limited to what you can actually do with this program.  

For a course that costs that much, I feel that you should at least have the option to choose a niche you’re passionate about.

There’s nothing wrong in focusing on ONE industry, but you have to let people know upfront before they end up investing in this opportunity. Otherwise, they might get the wrong impression and buy the program with false expectations.

Furthermore, you will be promoting Brendan’s other products and services, such as Goodwill, Zero Hour Workdays, StealthD, Super Funnels, or 1 Page Profits. These are just a few of the many programs and systems Brendan lists on Warrior Plus each and every month.

If you like the idea of paying nearly $2K for the opportunity to help grow Brendan’s income, then Project Profit Academy may be for you.

Especially if you don’t mind spending money on Solo Ads and other paid traffic generation methods to promote all of the above-mentioned programs.

To me, it doesn’t seem like Brendan is interested in helping people succeed as affiliates. At least not a much as making sure he gets the most out of every single person that enrolls into his high ticket program.

Is Project Profit Academy a Scam?

I don’t think it’s a scam. However, I think that the quality of Project Profit Academy is low, especially when you consider the big investment you’re being asked to make for getting full access to this program.

Brendan Mace launches a new product AT LEAST once a month, and he’s been doing this for a few years now.

Do you think that he has the time to go back to each one, revise, improve, and ensure that his projects are of high quality? That’s hundreds of products.

As I said, he is way more focused on creating quantity than ensuring good product quality.

Most reputable course creators, especially in the make money online niche, have one or two MAIN products that they put all their time and energy into improving. It’s a never ending job.

That’s one of the biggest reasons why I can’t recommend Project Profit Academy to anyone. The affiliate marketing business model is a legit way to earn a decent income online, and you don’t have to spend thousands of dollars to get started.

Learn how to promote other people’s products and services in a niche market or topic you’re passionate about. Whatever that may be, I can guarantee you can turn that into a profitable online business.

Who Create Project Profit Academy?

Brendan Mace. He is the founder of numerous software, done for you programs, and courses in the make money online niche.

He is known to add new products as a vendor on Warrior Plus at least once a month. Brendan is from British Columbia, and according to his bio, it took a lot of time, effort, and patience to get to a point where he could start making decent money online.

Like many others, he initially thought that he would take the traditional route. Going to university, getting a 9 to 5 job, working 40 hours a week for someone else, you know, the usual stuff. Then he discovered the vast world of internet marketing.

At first, it all seemed like a big scam to him. A friend of his showed him his Amazon affiliate earnings and that’s when all doubt in his mind disappeared.

Fast forward a few years later, Brendan Mace is now earning a full time income from home, creating products, and marketing them on platforms like Warrior Plus.

What’s Inside Project Profit Academy?

Project Profit Academy offers done for you (DFY) sales funnels that you will be using alongside every other member of this platform.

On the upside, you will get sales pages that are proven to work since Brendan Mace uses similar ones to convert visitors into buying customers.

The downside is that you will be using the same funnel as most people that sell and promote Brendan’s offers.

You will be targeting the same type of audience, which can lead to prospects seeing the same, or almost identical, sales pages, which is GUARANTEED to significantly reduce the overall conversion percentage.

In other words, if you rely solely on the DFY pages, odds are that you will have a much harder time getting people to buy from your affiliate offers.

Since Project Profit Academy teaches people how to get traffic through paid methods, your ad spend will be significantly higher than if you were to take your time and create your own UNIQUE sales funnels with your own personal twist on them. Here’s a breakdown of everything else you’re getting access to.

Affiliate Academy

This is the core training inside Project Profit Academy. It has over 20 videos in total, with each one being no longer than 6 minutes.

Here, you will learn how to build a list of emails that you can send promotional messages with your affiliate links.

The entire module is focused on teaching you how to send promo emails, which can work, and if you manage to build a decent size email list, you will likely start making sales.

However, a much better approach would be to add value first, showing your audience they can trust you as a marketer.

By proving them with FREE value that can help get them one step closer to their goals, you’re giving people a solid reason to keep you in their inbox.

You know that your email box can get filled with messages pretty quickly, especially if you’re actively looking for ways to make money online.

If all you’re getting are pitches for different affiliate products, odds are that you won’t be opening every single email that you get from that person.

However, if you know that they drop the occasional ”golden nugget”, then you’re much more likely to engage with that person’s emails.

Apart from building a list, you will also learn how to drive paid traffic within the Affiliate Academy module.

Launch Academy

This module comes with 12 videos in total. This is where you will learn Brendan’s strategy for creating courses and info products in the make money online niche.

If you’re interested in creating your own course and learning exactly how Brendan creates his sales page so that you can replicate his methods and create your own pages from scratch, this module can be very useful for you.

You will also learn how to engage in Facebook groups and post your links to generate traffic. According to some people, Brendan uses spammy tactics to generate organic Facebook traffic that are incredibly ineffective.

Experts Academy

This section has 3 videos in total. The longest one is 23 minutes, and the shortest one is less than 3 minutes.

Most of them are from Jono Armstrong, the founder of Ministry of Freedom. He covers a bunch of tactics for generating traffic and making money online as an affiliate marketer.

There’s also one short video here, where Jono shows you how to create review videos of various products. He is an actual expert in the field, so you can definitely get some value here.

How Much Does Project Profit Academy Cost?

As far as I know, Project Profit Academy is Brendan Mace’s most expensive program yet. It comes with a price tag of $1,997 or two separate monthly payments of $1,100.

Apart from getting access to the course, you will end up paying for solo ads, and pay per click (PPC) campaigns, which can cost you a ton of additional money as well.

Bottom line, if you don’t have at least a grand more on top of what you have to pay for the course itself, then it’s probably NOT worth considering getting involved with Brendan’s program. 

Can You Get a Refund on Project Profit Academy?

No. This program comes with a no refunds policy. For a high ticket course, this kind of refund is absurd, in my opinion.

At the very least, you should be able to test things out, see if it’s for you or not. This adds an enormous amount of unnecessary risk to your investment.

What I Like About Project Profit Academy

1. Brendan Mace Knows How to Make Money Online. If you follow what he does, not what he teaches in his courses, you can actually learn a lot of things. He is one clever internet marketer. I will give him that.

2. You Can Learn How to Create Your Own Course and Launch it on Warrior Plus. That’s definitely a good thing if you’re interested in something similar. However, as an affiliate marketer with no prior experience, I don’t really see the value in it for beginners.

What I Don’t Like About Project Profit Academy

1. Overpriced. Some programs and courses can be well worth investing a couple of grand, or even more. However, I don’t think that Project Profit Academy is one of them.

2. No Refund Policy. Just another indicator that Brendan cares more about making money for himself than actually helping others.

3. You’re Taught How to Promote His Other Low Quality Products. Need I say more?

Is There a Better Alternative

Yes, there is. Affiliate marketing is a great way to get started in the world of making money online.

However, paying thousands of dollars for a low quality training program that covers basics and gives you access to some email swipes that affiliates can find for free is not what I would call a worthwhile investment.

There is some value to Project Profit Academy, like the done for you sales funnels and pages, but that does not justify the huge price tag. Brendan has similar courses all over Warrior Plus that cost way less than $1,997.

That being said, I do believe there is a better way to get started with affiliate marketing. One that doesn’t teach you how to promote low quality products.

If you’re interested in learning how to promote other people’s products in a niche market that you’re passionate about, be it in the make money online market, or something entirely different like sports, fitness, health, you name it, all without even having to pay money for generating traffic, then you should see this alternative below.
