If you don’t have AT LEAST $5,000 on top of what you have to pay for Tom Wang’s course, you should probably avoid getting into FBA until you accumulate some capital.
Even though his training is extensive and covers everything that you need to achieve success, there will be a lot of work ahead, just like with any other business model.
No one will do it for you, so don’t assume that it will be easy just because you have everything laid out for you in a step-by-step manner.
If you treat this like the investment that it is and DO the work, you have a REAL chance of becoming a profitable Amazon seller with Tom Wang’s help.
However, there are other ways to create a successful online business with Amazon, more suitable for beginners that don’t feel comfortable spending and risking that much money upfront.

The truth is that if you want to get FASTER results, it’s almost certain that you will have to start running paid ads to drive traffic to your offers. Despite all the training and help that you may get, there is no way to guarantee that your PPC campaigns are going to yield any results.

Who is Tom Wang?

This is the first part of the training series inside the FBA Masterclass. By the time you’re done with this module, you should have all the legal stuff out of the way. Before you get to to the next chapter, you have the option of browsing at 11 different success stories for motivation.
Chapter 1 – Finding Your First Winning Product
There’s a total of 19 training videos here, covering a lot of tips and tricks that you can use to find your winning product. You can use Amazon Suggested, a software called Viral Launch, and a bunch of additional resources for identifying a great product.
Then you will learn about the type of products that you have to avoid, how to package your product in a great-looking offer and how to narrow down your product list.
At the end of this module, you can give feedback and offer suggestions about what’s missing, what you would like to learn more about, etc.
There is a mini-course on Helium 10, a suite of tools to help with your SEO, product research, and a bunch of project management resources to make your life as an Amazon seller easier. This tool costs extra, so you have to think about that as well.
Chapter 2 – Sourcing Negotiation and Logistics
Reaching out to suppliers on Alibaba in a way that makes you look like a professional, even if you don’t have any real experience is paramount if you want to get good deals.
You will get templates for email outreach, a guide on getting quotes, a short 5-minute video that teaches you how to negotiate with suppliers, and all the additional things that you need to do to ensure that you get your sourcing and logistics up and running profitably.
If you don’t know how the process of shipping goods from China to Amazon works, there’s a 14-minute long video that explains everything. There’s a total of 39 training videos inside this module.
Chapter 3 – Building Your Foundation For Launch
There are 16 training videos here, that show you how to create high quality, appealing images to get clicks on them, everything that you need to know about photos, keyword research, pricing your items copywriting, and more.
At the end of this module, there’s an FAQ section and the option of giving feedback to Tom Wang and his team to help them improve your experience as a member of the FBA Masterclass.
Chapter 4 – Getting Reviews
Reviews can do wonders for your brand and can help users make the buy decision. That’s why it’s important to have them in place.
You will get a 17-minute video that shows you exactly how to do that, and an additional 25-minute long video that goes in-depth in showing you how to leverage Feedback Whiz to get more reviews.
Then you have 7 more training video series on helping you understand sessions, conversions, getting people to click on your listing, and how to get even more reviews by offering discounts to people that leave positive feedback.
Chapter 5 – Rank & Bank
There are 8 videos here in total. They are all about helping you understand the Amazon ranking system picking the RIGHT keywords to appear on the first page for your chosen search term, and tracking your keywords.
Chapter 6 – Manychat
Manychat is a chatbot software tool designed to simulate real live conversations. It integrates with Facebook’s messaging system and can help you communicate with many people at the same time by automating the entire process.
Similar to email marketing, but on Facebook, this tool allows you to close prospects, reach out to people, and communicate with your customers without having to manually reach out to every single person.
It’s ideal for mass messaging, but the free trial has its limits. That’s why you will probably end up investing in this additional tool to ensure maximum success rate.
Chapter 7 – Seller Tools
Seller.Tools is a platform created by the top 1% of sellers for people that want real insights and data on what works for other Amazon sellers.
It allows you to do multiple things, with a single goal in mind, to help you make more money with Amazon FBA. You can even get access to Manychat flows through the Seller.Tools platform.
Chapter 8 – Facebook Ads
This module is all about Facebook ads and how to run paid campaigns inside the biggest social media platform. It goes without saying that it will cost you extra cash daily to run ads, but if you’re lucky, you may get a decent return on your investment sooner than later.
Tom Wang will help with all the technical aspects regarding your campaigns and setting up your first Facebook ad in these 6 video training series.
Chapter 9 – Rank & Bank Strategies
These are advanced Facebook ad techniques, and Manychat flows that will help you get the most out of your paid campaigns. Inside these 9 video series, you will learn some pretty in-depth stuff that most beginner internet marketers don’t even know about. This can give you an advantage over some of your competitors on Facebook.
Chapter 10 – Amazon PPC
This is one of the longest modules inside the FBA Masterclass. The lessons are held by Mina Elias. He is the CEO of Hyrdrolite and a successful Amazon seller. His Pay Per Click expertise can definitely help him teach people how to run ads on Amazon.

What I Like About FBA Masterclass

I’ve seen too many Gurus that teach others how to make money online with a specific business model, without actually being successful themselves.
2. The Course is Extensive. With 330 training videos and lessons, you can be sure that every single aspect of this business model gets covered inside.
3. It Seems That Tom Wang Cares For The Success of His Students. The fact that you have the option of leaving feedback for every single module that you go through, leads me to believe that he is constantly trying to improve the learning experience for every member of his program.
What I Don’t Like About FBA Masterclass
1. No Refunds. Even though you can access a very limited part of the entire course for free, I don’t think that it’s enough to make a decision.
2. It’s Expensive. On top of the hefty price tag for the course, you will have to spend even more money on paid ad campaigns and additional tools.
3. It’s Not The Best Business Model For Beginners. Due to the high start-up costs, and the risky nature of Amazon FBA, I don’t think that this is the best business model for beginners that are just getting started with making money online.
Is There a Better Alternative?
If you’re fully aware of all the pros and cons of Amazon FBA, and you’re absolutely certain that this is what you want to do, then Tom Wang’s FBA Masterclass may be a great option for you.
However, if you’re a beginner with no experience in creating an online business, there are better alternatives to choose from.
One of them is affiliate marketing. It doesn’t involve any product creation, shipping, or handling. You don’t have to deal with customer service, refunds, or customer complaints. You don’t even have to spend any money on paid ads if you don’t want to.
