Dan Vas’ course is definitely worth considering if you can afford to spend at least $5K on top of the course expenses for things like inventory, ad spend, software tools, etc.
Selling your own products usually means that you have to deal with things like customer satisfaction, refunds, complaints and you have to make sure that you’re perceived well by your audience.
If you start getting a lot of negative reviews, your sales will suffer, and you will likely lose more money than you spend.
That’s why I think that there are better ways to start a profitable online business and avoid dealing with many of the above mentioned things altogether.

Ecom Freedom is a course that will teach you how to build a profitable Amazon business from scratch.
You will learn how to set up your seller’s account, how to source your products, and how to make sales.
Dan Vas has a method for operating his online business that involves buying products in bulk and storing them inside Amazon’s fulfillment centers.
This means that you will need to invest a hefty sum upfront to get your products ready to be sold.
Since there aren’t any real guarantees that your inventory will attract the interest of potential buyers, there is some risk attached to this business model, as it is with most other legit ways to make money online.
In this case, the worst thing that can happen is to end up buying the wrong products and not making enough sales to cover your costs.
On the upside, if all goes well, you could potentially turn a profit and earn way more than your initial investment to get started.
Dan Vas’ eCom Freedom course consists of video content mainly and some pdf files. The majority of the training material is all about the FBA business model and how to get started as a complete beginner.

According to the sales page, you can cancel at any time during your free trial and you won’t be charged as long as you cancel within the given timeframe.
What I Like About Ecom Freedom
1. The Training Covers Everything You Need to Know. There isn’t a single thing left out. By the time you’re done with the Ecom Freedom course, you will know exactly what you need to do to succeed with Amazon FBA.
2. The Course is Well Delivered. The information provided inside is systematically organized, which makes the learning curve that much easier to handle.
3. You Get Access to 1 on 1 Coaching. On top of that, you can become part of Dan Vas’ private Facebook group for members only, allowing you to connect with like minded individuals.
What I Don’t Like About Ecom Freedom
1. It’s Expensive. You will have to pay nearly $800 to join the training program. Then you will have to think about buying products, paying Amazon fees, spending money on ads, hiring VA’s, and buying additional software tools.
2. Refund Policy. Most courses and training programs offer at least 30 days to get your money back. With Ecom Freedom, you only have 7, which may not be enough to decide if this business venture is for you, or not.
3. It’s Not The Best Business Model for Beginners. If you’re just getting started in the online world, there are easier ways to begin your journey without risking that much.
Is There a Better Alternative?
Amazon FBA can be an incredibly lucrative opportunity to make money online. However, it’s also very costly. By now, you should know exactly what it takes to become a successful Amazon seller.
If you can afford to spend, and risk losing over $5K and you like the idea of providing exceptional customer service, buying products in bulk, and selling them individually at a higher price, then Ecom Freedom may be for you.
However, if you’re just getting started and you prefer to avoid the above mentioned things, you can see my favorite way of making money online. It involves promoting other people’s products and services in exchange for commission payments.
You don’t have to create your own products, deal with customer service, refunds, complaints, and you don’t have to spend a ton of money to get started.
