In May 2022, Scott Hilse release his 5.5 version of this program. In this brand new version, he is focused on doing dropshipping with a budget of $0.
The main focus here is TikTok for free traffic generation and advertising. While, in theory, this could work without spending any out of pocket money, the reality is that you will struggle a lot to get that first sale and start the ball rolling.
You may not even get to that point. Ever. This business model is NOT easy and anyone saying otherwise is misleading you.
It will be especially difficult if you don’t have any previous experience in making money online, running a business, etc.
That’s why I think that there are far better and much more cost effective alternatives for beginners.
What is Simplified Dropshipping?
Simplified Dropshipping is a dropshipping course by Scott Hilse. In his own words, he became a successful business owner selling stuff online and now he wants to teach others to do the same.
Apparently, this is one of the easiest, fastest, and least overwhelming ways to get started with dropshipping.
On his sales page, Scott emphasizes the fact that it’s incredibly simple to build your store, and fan page, fill your inventory, launch your first paid ad, or create your first promo video for TikTok.
Can this work for you? Yes. Will it? Not necessarily and here’s why. In my opinion, the entire business model is presented in a very simplistic way.
People that come across this opportunity can easily start thinking about how easy and effortless it’s going to be to start making tons of money with this program. In reality, there are many things left untold that will DEFINITELY turn into an issue later on.
Is Simplified Dropshipping a Scam?
No, Simplified Dropshipping is NOT a scam. It’s a legit program that costs NOTHING to get into. In my opinion, this program portrays the dropshipping business model as way easier than it actually is.
Think about all the competition you’re dealing with, the costs for shipping your products to other people, actually finding a winning product and getting cheap or free traffic (web users).
If you decide to go with the PAID traffic option, you will have to consider the amount of money you spend on ad campaigns, and the profit you’re left with after you sell a product. In most cases, you will find that your net profit is NOT a lot.
Furthermore, it will probably take a lot of time to find a winning campaign. This means testing different variations for your ads and spending a lot of money testing things out.
You can choose to go with FREE traffic generation and follow the lessons provided inside this program on using TikTok as a medium. If you do that, it may take WAY longer to start seeing results.
Here’s the thing. When you create a video for TikTok, it needs to adhere to certain rules and regulations. If you break any of them, you can get your account banned or shadowbanned, which means that people won’t see any of your stuff anymore.
Also, ONLY people in your area will see your videos, which restricts your organic reach by a lot.
Even if you do manage to find a GREAT product with an awesome stream of buyer traffic for free, you still need to think about customer satisfaction, issuing refunds, chargebacks, product quality, fulfillment, etc. All of these things can make your job very difficult.
I think that there are much EASIER business models with HUGE potential, where you can avoid dealing with the above mentioned issues and earn passive income at the same time.

3. No Upsells. You don’t have to pay for any additional programs and courses once you get inside this program.
What I Don’t Like About Simplified Dropshipping
1. The Business Model is Oversimplified. People can easily get the impression that it’s very easy and fast to start making money with Dropshipping and this course. In reality, it’s very difficult and many factors will determine your success or failure.
2. It’s Very Competitive. Dropshipping is one of the most competitive business models out there. Be prepared to deal with increased ad costs and to fight for the attention of potential customers.
3. A Few Bad Reviews Can Ruin Your Business. If a bunch of people purchase your products and for one reason or another, leave a negative review, other potential clients will see it, and likely reconsider buying from you. Sometimes, you can do EVERYTHING right and people will still be disappointed.
4. It’s Not The Best Alternative For Beginners. If you’re just getting started and you’ve never had a business, or made any money online before, it’s safe to say that there are far better ways to get started.
