Summary: Every single program inside Online Trading Academy is taught by experts in their respective fields. There are over 60 of them in total.
They are both investors and instructors. Without a doubt, you will learn a lot of valuable information and acquire specialized skills in different areas of investing.
However, it is arguable that the price for many of the advanced training programs is NOT worth it. In my opinion, you should spend that much money ONLY if you’re willing to risk losing them.
In this industry, there are ZERO guarantees of success. Even if you follow the advice of the most skilled experts, there’s still a huge risk involved with trading. That’s why I think that there are much less risky and cost-effective alternatives for beginners.
What is Online Trading Academy?
Online Trading Academy is a platform where you can learn all about investing in various industries. There’s a plethora of courses and classes you can enroll in. Most of them are online but there are a few held in person.
The best place to start is most likely the 3-day orientation class. It’s focused on what they call their “core strategy” for investing in the stock market. It costs a one-time fee of $99.
It’s designed to give you a better understanding of the business model and help you find out if this is the path for you or not. If you do decide to become a trader in the stock market, you will be encouraged to spend a minimum of $12K to get started.
The more you invest, the higher your potential earnings will get. The risks increase as well.
Is Online Trading Academy a Scam?
Online Trading Academy is not a scam. It’s a legit platform with many high-end experts and a lot of informational content that beginners, even expert traders, can take advantage of. The program is not without its flaws.
Back in 2020, they were issued a lawsuit by the FTC. OTA had to fork over between $5 and $9.1 million dollars to consumers.
Apparently, they were promising a lot of money to everyone that enrolled in their high-ticket programs without disclosing the actual risks that came with these investments. Some people have compared Online Trading Academy to a pyramid scheme.
The reality is that most investors and traders end up making little to no money. That’s the case with most of the make-money-online business opportunities out there.
That’s why I think that there are better ways to start an online business and reduce your risks of listing a lot of money to a minimum.

How Much Does Online Trading Academy Cost?
There are different price tags for each of the courses and programs inside Online Trading Academy. The cheapest one is $99. You don’t really learn a lot over there, and most of the information can already be found for free online.
The more advanced courses start at $7,000K and climb to over $40,000. That’s for the Specialty Courses. There is a Mastermind Community that allows you to interact with other traders and investors. It costs $25K.
Can You Get a Refund?
Yes. There’s a 14-day refund policy on all products sold by Online Trading Academy. You can ask for your money back within the given time frame.
There are no catches or rules you need to adhere to get that refund. All you have to do is ask for your money, and you will get them back.
What I Like About Online Trading Academy
1. It Has a Variety of Programs. You can learn about all kinds of investing with OTA. The experts there will make sure you’re time spent is well worth it.
2. You Can Get Your Money Back. If you decide that investing thousands of dollars in something that may not work is not the right move for you, you have 14 days to ask for your money back.
3. OTA Was Created a Long Time Ago. The platform has withstood the test of time. Since its conception back in 1997, they’ve onboarded thousands of new members.
What I Don’t Like About Online Trading Academy
1. It’s Very Expensive. You can end up wasting tens of thousands of dollars. Losing them is a very real possibility.
2. It’s Very Risky. This is NOT for people that aren’t willing to take huge risks.
3. Not The Best Alternative For Beginners. In my opinion, there are better ways to start making money online as a beginner. Without risking tons of money upfront.
