Heck, even if you’ve invested your fair share of hours into learning about the topic, you will probably still learn a thing or two.

Then again, I’m also certain that you can learn a lot of new things just by doing your research on Google or Youtube.

The question that you should be asking here should be something like “is this course really worth spending my money on?” and unfortunately there is no single answer that can fit everyone.

Instead of telling you what you should be doing, I’m just going to give you my honest opinion here, and I leave the choice to you.

I think that Jenna Kutcher’s course is NOT worth it, simply because there are other, cost-effective alternatives that can teach you email marketing alongside a ton of other useful things about making money online at the fraction of the price.

What is List To Launch Lab & Can Jenna Kutcher Teach You Email Marketing?

List to Launch Lab is one of Jenna Kutcher’s many training programs. This one in particular is all about email marketing and how to become an expert in the field.

According to the sales page, you will get a roadmap that will help you acquire your first 1K subscribers, or increase your existing email list. You will also get a 5 step plan that will outline your entire email strategy so that you know what you have to do at all times.

Followed right after that, is a series of implementation guides that will show you what tools you need to use, how to customize your content so that it can look appealing to those that see it, and how to create your first freebie.

It’s important to have some sort of a free gift that you can give out to people, in exchange for their email. You have to make it worth their while after all, right?

Then you will get to learn how to effectively analyze what’s currently working in the market. If you know what your subscribers want and need, you will minimize unsubscribe rates, and ensure that you are helpful to those that end up subscribing to your email list.

This is what the sales page promises in a nutshell, but just because you are being promised something, it doesn’t necessarily mean that’s what you will get when you end up buying right? 

That’s why it’s important to find out who you’re dealing with here, which is what this next bit is all about.

Jenna Kutcher is the founder of this email marketing course, and it’s also the person that will cover all the lessons inside the List to Launch Lab.

Over the years she has managed to build a 7 figure digital business, and it all started with her passion for photography. In 2012 she left her corporate job to pursue her dreams and went full time in photography.

In 2014 her photography business hit 6 figures for the first time. In 2015 she hit 10K followers on Instagram and launched her first online course ever called, The Jenna Kutcher Course. Around that time, she started to build her own email list as well.

The List to Launch Lab is NOT a scam. This is a legit email marketing program created by successful businesswoman Jenna Kutcher.

Her entire course is based on building out an email list, and how to effectively communicate with your audience. Given the fact that she’s been involved with this for a long time, she knows what she’s talking about when it comes to that topic. 

It’s important to understand that this is a high ticket program, that will cost you a bunch of money, so you have to know that this is for you before you invest in something like this.

Just because something is not a scam, it doesn’t mean that it’s the right thing for you, especially when you consider that there are many alternatives and different courses, programs, or whatever you like to call them, that you can participate in.

If you are someone that is on a budget, then I would suggest that you find some other way to learn all the valuable things that are being taught inside.

You would also have to consider the fact that you will need to spend even more money on all the additional tools that you will be using alongside your email marketing, such as autoresponders.

Inside Jenna Kutcher’s List to Launch Lab course, you will get access to a 3 part training program that covers the essentials of email marketing.

The first part is called Strategy and is divided into 5 modules and a couple of bonus materials. The second part is called Implementation and it has 5 modules with a bunch of extra content that dives deeper into what’s being taught inside.

Finally, we have the Analysis part of the course, and it consists of 2 modules, a case study, and a couple of bonus lessons.

Let’s dive deeper into all of that and break each individual part of Jenna Kutcher’s email marketing course to get a better understanding of what they are all about.

Strategy Module 1 – Email Marketing 101

The first module in the Strategy section is all about teaching you the basic fundamentals of email marketing.

If you don’t know anything about email, then this short 11-minute video is just what you need. By the time you are done with it, you will know the true potential that having a big email list can do for you and your business.

Strategy Module 2 – Application Action

This part is all about learning how to implement different actionable tactics that increase your product awareness.

In this bonus module, Jenna Kutcher emphasizes the importance of having an email sign up form on your About Me page, in order to maximize your list building efforts.

Implementation Module 1 – Email Marketing Setup

This module is all about executing everything that you’ve learned so far and making sure that you choose the best email provider based on your specific needs. There is a bunch of them that you can choose from, and Jenna Kutcher will show you what to look for in an email autoresponder.

It’s important to remember that most of these tools will cost you money, and the ones that are free, have limited options available. When you are just getting started, you probably won’t need everything that a single email autoresponder can provide.

That’s why starting off with a free version is something that is perfectly acceptable, but you will most likely end up upgrading at one point or another. This module is approximately 18 minutes long.

Implementation Module 2 – Consistent Communication

Module 2 of the Implementation series is all about designing your welcome email. Jenna will also focus on the importance of the welcome series that you need to send out to your new subscribers throughout a period of a set number of given days.

List To Launch Lab Price, Refund, and Extra Costs

The List To Launch Lab’s price tag is $497. If you don’t want to pay that much at one go, then you have the option to pay either six monthly installments of $97 or 10 monthly installments of $59.

This means that if you decide to pay monthly, you will end up paying more than $497. As far as any additional costs go, you should expect to spend from $15/Month to $100/Month or more for email autoresponders. Some come with a free plan, but it’s going to be limited to the things that you can do inside.

As for a refund, you are entitled to one as long as it’s within 30 days of your purchase BUT you need to adhere to some requirements.

Here’s where it gets a bit tricky. You need to show them proof that you have gone through the entire course, completed all the tasks given inside, and if you still didn’t get any results, only then you can get your refund back. 

Furthermore, if you’ve agreed to pay monthly installments, and decide that you don’t want to pay any more, you will be breaking the law.

According to Jenna Kutcher’s terms and conditions page, you are legally required to pay the entire sum agreed upon, or you may get into some trouble.

On top of that, if you make any late payments, you will have to pay a late interest fee of 1,5% or the highest rate allowed by law, whichever is greater. Basically, it’s all fine and dandy, until you decide to get your money back or decide to stop paying for the course.

Do I Recommend Jenna Kutcher’s Email Marketing Course?

Not really, and here’s why. Jenna Kutcher’s email marketing course is expensive by itself, plus there are a ton of extra requirements that render you unable to take advantage of the refund, even though it says that you can get one within 30 days.

A lot of the things being taught inside can be found for free online. There’s a ton of info about email marketing on Youtube, so why would anyone want to pay that much for any single course or training?

That’s just my opinion of the matter, and nothing more. If you are looking for a way to start your own profitable online business, without spending that much money upfront, then you should see how these people are banking profits using a simple yet incredibly effective blueprint that so many neglect and lose out on that opportunity forever.
