The entire thing is designed to help you learn advanced trading strategies that will ideally help you pass the FTMO challenge and get funding for your trades. The community of like-minded members is created with the end goal of everyone helping each other out.
Robert Billing is regularly uploading videos on Youtube, where he talks about how he has different trading strategies with up to 84% win rates for members of his platform.
While that sounds very exciting and intriguing, there is still a REAL chance that you will end up losing your money.
Nothing is guaranteed in this business, and most people that do get involved end up losing more money than they spend.
That’s why I think that there is a much safer and cost-effective alternative for beginners with no prior business experience.
What is FTMO Academy?
FTMO Academy is a trading course with about an hour’s worth of video lessons. As a member of this program, you also get 24/7 support from Robert Billing directly, Trade Spider EA that manages your trades, Instrument Scanner EA (What to trade, saves you time), and mentorship for the more expensive membership.
The trading strategy covered inside works outside FTMO, and you can use it as a solo trader. Unlike other programs, this one gives you lifetime access to the course and its contents.
The only pre-requirements are to know how to place trades and have basic knowledge of price action.
Is FTMO Academy a Scam?
FTMO Academy is not a scam. It’s a legit training program that promises to teach you how to become a better trader. Even with the high percentage win rate strategy, you can still end up losing a lot of money.
That’s why, I can’t recommend this program to anyone that’s now willing to risk losing what they put in. Furthermore, to make it worth your while, you need to invest large chunks of cash.

How Much Does FTMO Academy Cost?
There are two membership options inside FTMO Academy. The first one costs a one-time fee of $399. With it, you get lifetime access, full trading strategy, telegram channel access, and more. The Pro Course & Mentorship has everything mentioned so far plus mentoring.
Can You Get a Refund?
No. There are no refunds available. Robert’s reasoning behind this is that the course is not long and people can easily manipulate the refund policy.
What I Like About FTMO Academy
1. Transparency. The sales page’s FAQ section lets you know immediately that you’re not guaranteed anything when enrolling in this course.
2. The Founder is a Successful Trader. Robert Billing claims he is a 7 figure trader. That should mean that he knows what the is doing.
3. Community Access. This can allow you to network with like-minded individuals, which is always a good thing.
What I Don’t Like About FTMO Academy
1. No Refunds. If you end up disappointed with the content inside, there’s nothing you can do about it.
2. Expensive & Risky. It can be very expensive to purchase the course and start trading. The business model is very risky too.
3. Not The Best Alternative For Beginners. In my opinion, beginners should avoid spending that much money on something that may not even work in the first place.
