You can learn all about the FBA (Fulfilled By Amazon) business model with wholesale or private label products from China.

This can cost you thousands of dollars just to get started, which is why if you can’t (or won’t) spend that much, a solid part of the training inside goes overs Merch By Amazon, which is all about selling T-shirts with your own logo and design.

Compared to FBA, this model is way cheaper to get started with, the risk is not that big, but there are some drawbacks that I will talk about in this review today.

Jim Cockrum’s Proven Amazon Course 2.0 (Pac) can help you get started as a seller inside this platform.

The downside of this training program is that there’s not a lot of depth in the training material.

It’s great for people with no prior experience, but if you’re looking to grow and learn advanced methods of making money online with Amazon, PAC 2.0 may not be for you.

Having said that, I still think that there is a better way to start a profitable, cost-effective online business as a beginner.

What is Proven Amazon Course 2.0 About?

There are over 20+ mini-courses inside PAC 2.0 in different categories. It can feel a bit overwhelming at first, that’s why you should start with a category that’s best suited towards what you’re most interested in.

There’s a total of 9 different ways to learn inside. Going through all of them can be challenging and time-consuming, that’s why you should know what they cover first.

Here’s a breakdown of the different Amazon business models that you can learn about inside the Proven Amazon Course 2.0.

This can help you get a better understanding of the different ways that you can leverage the platform as a seller and find out whether you like any of these opportunities or not.

Getting a better understanding of the business models covered inside is the only REAL way to know if Jim Cockrum’s course is for you nor not.

What is Amazon FBA Wholesale?

This is the most expensive way to get started. Wholesale means that you purchase products in bulk from a supplier or manufacturer and sell them to consumers for more than what you’ve paid.

They are already branded, which means that you don’t have to worry about creating your own brand from scratch. Since you’re buying in large quantities, you can get discounts and offers that are made to Amazon sellers that buy in bulk only.

To put things in perspective, if you buy a thousand items and sell each one individually to a thousand different people, you can easily double or triple your initial investment. 

Keep in mind that this is in the best-case scenario. The worst thing that can happen is to spend a bunch of money on products that no one wants to buy.

The most important thing that you need to remember here is that you will need to buy the products upfront, which increases your risk and your overall expenses to get things going.

What is Amazon FBA Private Labeling?

The main difference between the aforementioned model and private labeling is the fact that you can slap your own brand on the products that you’re buying.

You still have to buy in bulk, but it can be cheaper if you purchase from places like Alibaba, which is a Chinese company that offers a marketplace for various products and items.

Private labeling can allow you the opportunity to build your brand and increase the prices to as much as the customers are willing to pay. Here’s a great post that clearly outlines the main difference between the two business models.

What is Merch By Amazon?

Out of all the business models mentioned so far, this one has the lowest startup costs. It’s a Print on Demand (POD) service offered by Amazon.

It’s really easy to get started, especially if you have a creative nature. In its essence, POD is all about creating designs and putting them on t-shirts, sweaters, etc.

All you have to do is make your own design and publish it on Amazon. If it gets approved, you can earn royalties from each sale that you generate. 

However, it’s not a quick process. It can take 6 months or more to get approved by Merch By Amazon. Here’s a helpful article that outlines everything you need to know about this business model in detail.

Is Proven Amazon Course 2.0 a Scam?

No, it’s not a scam. The content inside is legit, and you have the privilege of learning from different people. The founder of Proven Amazon Course 2.0, Jim Cockrum has partnered with a bunch of successful Amazon sellers. This can be considered as both good and bad, depending on your own learning style.

I think that it’s a good thing to get more than one point of view, and listening to a number of people can allow you to explore their mindset and their way of thinking. Odds are that you won’t like absolutely every coach inside PAC 2.0, and that’s normal. 

An important note here is that Jim Cockrum’s coaching program and his way of doing business have been under scrutiny by successful Amazon sellers such as Beau Crabill.

Keep in mind that many FBA courses teach their members how to manipulate reviews to increase their own sales, such as The Amz Formula.

Jim Cockrum created PAC 2.0. He is also behind a book called Silent Sales Machine. Jim has been involved in Amazon and eBay as a seller since 1997.

Throughout the years, he has managed to create a solid portfolio of multiple streams of income, business books, and multiple membership sites.

Jim Cockrum’s coaching program, the Proven Amazon Course 2.0 undermines many competitor courses due to the incredibly low fees for joining. Compared to similar programs such as Marketplace Superheroes, this one is incredibly cheap.

There are 8 courses in total here. The first one is Amazon Selling 101. It consists of 5 lessons that go over the first steps of becoming a seller. Then you have the Amazon Basics. It’s a 2 lesson course that shows you how to set up your account and how to deal with inventory in the best way possible.

Silent Sales Machine. An in-depth guide on creating multiple streams of income. Even if you don’t quite realize this yet, being able to earn from multiple sources is paramount for your online success.

If you don’t know where your money is going, you can lose out. That’s why it’s important to utilize this course, even if you don’t feel like it. naturally, you can always hire someone else to take care of your accounting, but it will cost you.

The second course is called Team Building. This is part of scaling your business. You can’t do everything on your own, that’s why it’s important to know how to be a team leader, and how to build that dream team.

You won’t have to tackle this until you’re already seeing some decent results from your online business.

Proven Merch By Amazon

There are 3 courses here that cover everything you should know about the Merch By Amazon opportunity, including how to leverage it in the most efficient ways possible.

You will learn all about guidelines that you have to follow, Photoshop to make your images look outstanding, keyword tools to ensure you rank organically on Amazon’s listings, and more.

Unlike the other courses mentioned so far, this one comes in PDF format. The most visual part of Proven Amazon Course 2.0 comes in a text-based format.

This can be considered as a big advantage over other programs that don’t have the luxury of allowing you to communicate with other members.

On top of that, there are regular live events that you can watch. Even if you miss one, you can access the reply alongside every live event that has ever been made since the creation of this program.

What I Like About Proven Amazon Course 2.0

1. It’s accredited by the BBB. Unlike other competitor courses such as Amz Champions, PAC 2.0 is accredited by the Better Business Bureau, and that is definitely a good thing.

2. It’s One Of The Most Cost Friendly Amazon Courses Out There. If you take a look at similar training programs such as FBA Masterclass, you can quickly realize they are very expensive compared to what you’re offered with PAC 2.0.

3. Jim Cockrum Has Been Around For a While. That’s a strong indicator that he clearly knows what he is doing when it comes to making money online as an Amazon seller.

4. You Can Learn From Different People. Everyone inside PAC 2.0 has their own unique characteristics and point of view. I think that it’s great that you can explore the mindset of these successful people.

What I Don’t Like About Proven Amazon Course 2.0

1. Disorganized and Repetitive Content. Some of the courses repeat themselves throughout the different categories inside this course.

2. It’s Not The Best Business Model To Make Money Online as a Beginner. If you’re just getting started, there are better alternatives that you can try.

My Recommendation

If you’re not sure if Amazon FBA or Merch By Amazon are suitable options for you, then you can try things out and see if they are a good fit. The worst thing that can happen is that you will lose $29 bucks, and pay for one full month of membership.

Here are a few pointers that might save you time and money. If you’re into designing your own graphics and logos, or if you’re interested in learning how to do that, then you may find value in this course.

If you’re interested in buying products from China and selling them for more than what you’ve paid, then you may find Pac 2.0 useful. 

If you prefer to learn how to promote products and services that are already proven to convert well for a lot of people and save yourself a lot of time with product research, then you may want to check out my recommendation.

It’s the best business model for those that are just starting out online. You don’t have to manipulate product reviews to increase your sales, you don’t have to deal with unsatisfied clients that are looking for a refund, and you don’t have to spend any money on paid ads for exposure.
