Welcome to my review of Mikey Kass and his course, The Ecom Goodlife. Can he really help you become a successful dropship business owner, or is this just another scam to avoid?
Here’s what you need to know. Mikey presents this opportunity as a viable way of earning income online. The business model is REAL, but the training program might not be what you think.
It comes with a high price tag, which means that you can easily come crossed biased opinions of people trying to promote it without offering any REAL VALUE that you can use in the buy or not decision.
That’s why I want to point out that I’m not affiliated with Mikey Kass or his program, so don’t expect a thousand low-quality bonuses at the end of this review.
Instead, I will break down everything there is to know about this dropshipping course so that you know exactly what you’re getting into and make an educated decision without any hype or exaggerations.

The Ecom Goodlife Review Summary
Product Name: The Ecom Goodlife
Product Owner: Mikey Kass
Product Type: Dropshipping Training Course
Product Price: $497
Overall Score: 40/100
Recommended: No!
Summary: Dropshipping can help you live the laptop lifestyle and earn a full-time income if you have the capital needed to keep things going until you actually become profitable.
It may take a few months or up to a year until that happens. During that time you’re expected to keep on spending money on paid ads online because that’s what you’re being taught inside The Ecom Goodlife.
More specifically, you will learn how to run Facebook and Instagram ads, which is what 98% of all dropshipping courses teach you what to do.
You will be competing with a bunch of other people and implementing the exact same methods as everyone else that’s ever gotten themselves a dropshipping course.
Mikey Kass will not teach you anything new or never seen before. I’m not saying that his methods don’t work.
I’m only saying that in order to work, you will likely end up spending thousands of dollars before you start seeing any results.
As a business venture, it comes with its own risks, which means that you may not ever get to a point where you’re profitable.
If you prefer to avoid the risks that come along with this course, then you can explore other, beginner-friendly and cost-effective alternatives that can help you start an online business.
What is The Ecom Goodlife?
It’s a training program where Mikey Kass shows you everything that he knows about dropshipping in the 4 years that he’s been doing it. According to his claims, you can learn the following from his course:
– How to get to an average net profit of 40% – 50% or more.
– How to increase the probability of finding profitable products that have low competition and high consumer demand rates.
– How to start earning 4 figures per day.
– Step by step guide to mastering Shopify and earning a full-time income dropshipping.
– How to live a balanced life, which will increase your overall productivity and performance level.
Mikey is a self-proclaimed product research expert. Apparently, it’s one of the main reasons for his vast success as a dropshipper.
He says that, inside his course, you will learn exactly how to sell products that people want to buy and that you won’t have a problem with your research ever again.
Is The Ecom Goodlife a Scam?
I don’t think that it’s a scam, but I’m not sure how much value can someone get from this course in 2021 and beyond.
The main thing that you need to understand is that the dropshipping business model has changed a lot since the time Mikey Kass became successful with it.
This is not something that you learn once, and you’re good to go. On the contrary, it’s an ever-changing topic. The problem is that you can’t really know for sure if Mikey Kass has actually achieved as much as he claims to.
If he is entirely focused on promoting his training, I doubt that he is keeping up with these changes. In other words, what worked for him years ago, may not yield the same results for you.
His Instagram page has either been disabled or deleted. This may be a result of many people complaining about him and his course, or it could be something completely different.
Nevertheless, I do think that there’s too much hype around The Ecom Goodlife, and most of the things that you get access to inside this program can be seen for free on Youtube or Google.
In my opinion, it’s not worth investing $497 in Mikey Kass’s course. The value is lacking. It’s all just a big pile of hype designed to pique your interest and lead you on in believing that you can live the ”good life” by spending your money on this program.
I think that there are better ways to start an online business.
Who is Mikey Kass?
He’s got a pretty crazy story about running away when has was only 17 because his parents disapproved of him dropping out of high school to pursue his online venture.
According to him, at some point, he was making $150K a month. That’s when Mikey Kass decided to leave his home and become independent.
He wasn’t 18 yet, and that led to a lot of problems from his parents. They even accused him of running a shady business scheme, which is why they hired a lawyer to make sure that everything he did was legit.
I’m not saying that his story is not real, but it does sound a lot like fiction to me. Everything is possible, but at the same, a story like that can definitely intrigue a lot of people. As a course owner, it’s in his interest to get as much attention from people as possible.
What’s Inside The Ecom Good Life?
Inside you will get access to a few video training series where Mikey Kass goes over the dropship business model, how he got to a point where he was making more than enough money to live on his own, and how to replicate his steps to achieve the same. The course goes into the following topics:
Running Facebook & Instagram Ads. You will learn attention-grabbing methods and techniques that you can implement into your ad campaigns. If you’re new to this, then you will find the setting up and getting started with paid ads section of this module very useful.
Creating Your Shopify Store. Here you can learn everything about creating your online store. Much of what’s covered here can be seen with similar courses such as Tan Choudhury’s Ecom Mastery. Most dropshipping ”Gurus” focus on getting their members to use Shopify because it comes with a lucrative affiliate commission structure.
Winning Product Research. Locating the most promising products and comparing them with what others are doing can be crucial to your own personal success. That’s why there’s a big emphasis on this part of the training course. You will learn a range of product research methods that you can start using immediately.
Mindset. Mikey Kass will show you his own way of thinking and how he deals with stressful situations. Not everything will go as planned. You may face some major obstacles or hardships along the way, which is why adopting a positive mindset is important for your success.
Music Playlist. Even though this has nothing to do with dropshipping, Mikey will share his own taste in music. Apparently, this playlist has helped him tremendously in dealing with tough situations.
How Much Does The Ecom Goodlife Cost?
The course itself is priced at $497. The fee is not recurring. In other words, you only have to pay once to get access to the content inside this program.
There are no split payment options. There are additional fees that you will have to spend on things like a Shopify membership and paid ads on social media.
You may end up spending a few thousand dollars before you start seeing any decent results. Also, you will have to use your own money to purchase the items that are bought in your online store.
There’s a refund period on each order, which means that you can get paid from a customer after that period expires.
Can You Get a Refund?
Yes, there’s a 7-day money-back guarantee. You’re eligible if you don’t go over more than 20% of the content inside The Good Life course. There aren’t any other rules that you need to follow.
What I Like About The Ecom Good Life
1. You Can Leard Product Research Strategies. Not everyone knows the right way to do research, which can give you a certain degree of advantage over others.
2. You Will Learn How to Drive Traffic Using Paid Ads. This is a skill that can help you in more than one way.
What I Don’t Like About The Ecom Good Life
1. It’s Not Worth The Price. Most of the content barely scratches the surface of what’s required of you as a dropshipper. In my opinion, you’re better off browsing free content on Youtube than paying for Mikey Kass’s course.
2. It’s Expensive To Get Started. Running ads on Facebook is way more expensive than it used to be years ago. If you’re not careful, you can easily end up burning through your monthly ad budget in a single day.
3. Product Research Can Make or Break Your Online Business. You will have to spend a significant amount of time researching your niche market and picking the right products to sell.
The market can be so unpredictable that even if you do all of that, you may still end up with a failing product. The only way to be sure if something will work is to test it out by presenting it to a bunch of people, and that can be costly.
4. You Have to Deal With Refunds and Customer Complaints. In most cases, you will be shipping products from China to America, UK, Canada, and Australia. This can lead to prolonged delivery time.
Late deliveries can lead to refunds, loss of money, and complaints. A lot of credit card chargebacks can lead to your online store shutting down.
Is There a Better Alternative?
If you’re on the fence, wondering whether or not there is a better way to start an online business as a beginner, you will appreciate this bit of information here. There are many ways to make money online.
Some will cost you a small fortune to kick things off, but it doesn’t have to be that way. Instead of trying to figure out which products to sell and how much to spend on paid ads, you can learn how to promote other people’s products.
The earning potential is just as lucrative, and the risk is virtually non-existent. You can be ahead of the curve by tapping into products and services that have been proven to convert well on the market.
You don’t even have to invest in paid ads if you don’t want to. All you have to do is help people find what they are already looking for. There’s no selling, no customer service, and no dealing with complaints whatsoever.
Sounds interesting?
